  • What causes this issue?

No configuration valuation (characteristic valuation) could be
    determined for the order.
However, the bill of material is configurable and can only be exploded
when a configuration valuation is available.
As the configuration valuation is missing, the bill of material has not
    been exploded.
    Possible causes of error:
For make-to-order production, the configuration valuation is
transferred from the requirement. The cause of error is probably that
the requirement does not have a configuration valuation.
For make-to-stock production, the configuration valuation is
transferred from the material master. There is probably no
plant-dependent characteristic valuation (variant) in the material
    master.
For planning with a "Planning without final assembly" strategy, the
configuration valuation is transferred from the independent requirement
or from the material master (variants or indicator planning variant).
A configuration valuation may not have been defined in the independent
    requirement or the material master.

    System Response

requirements list, the more general exception message 52 "No BOM

    How to fix this error?

Check whether the configuration valuation is missing in the requirement
    or the material master.
