    You have chosen the generation of merchandise groups.
    Query &V1& chosen using method &V2& has no selection variables for
    merchandise category.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    You can either
    supply the field 'Field name in OLTP (R/3)' with the contents of '&V3&'
    (corresponding field in SAP BW is 0S_MATG, for example) in customizing
    'Maintaining Queries for Analytical Applications'. This step is valid
    only if the query is intended for general selections using merchandise
    categories.
    You can carry out this step only if you are authorized for transaction
    'Data retraction for Retail/CP (transaction code MCW_AA), otherwise
    notify your system adminstrator.
