The SAP error message MCEX149 indicates that there are still entries in the table MC12_PUFFER that are preventing the completion of a certain process, typically related to the Material Management (MM) or Production Planning (PP) modules. This error often arises during the execution of a transaction that requires the clearing or deletion of temporary data, but the system finds that there are still entries present in the specified table.

    Cause:

      • If the entries are no longer needed, you can manually delete them from the MC12_PUFFER table. However, be cautious with this approach, as it may affect ongoing processes.
      • You can also use transaction code MC12 to process the data in the buffer, which may help in clearing it.
    3. Check for Ongoing Processes:

      • Ensure that there are no ongoing processes that are using the data in the buffer. If there are, you may need to wait for those processes to complete.
    4. Run Consistency Checks:

      • If you suspect data inconsistencies, you can run consistency checks or use transaction codes like MCEX to check for errors in the related processes.
