- Key figure &1 is the base key figure for key figure &2 ?The SAP error message MAFWKF107 indicates that there is a dependency between two key figures in your data model. Specifically, it states that the key figure you are trying to work with (key figure &2) is dependent on another key figure (key figure &1), which is designated as the base key figure. This typically occurs in the context of planning or reporting scenarios where key figures are interrelated.
Cause:
- Key Figure Dependency: The error arises when you attempt to perform an operation (like a calculation or data entry) on a key figure that is dependent on another key figure that has not been properly defined or is not available in the context of your operation.

- Data Integrity Issues: The base key figure may not have valid data, leading to issues when trying to use the dependent key figure.
Solution:
- Check Key Figure Definitions: Review the definitions of both key figures in your data model. Ensure that the base key figure (&1) is correctly defined and populated with valid data.
- Data Availability: Make sure that the base key figure has data available for the time period or context you are working with. If the base key figure is empty or not calculated, the dependent key figure cannot be processed.
- Review Dependencies: If you are using a planning application, check the planning sequence or logic to ensure that the base key figure is calculated before the dependent key figure.
