  • What causes this issue?

    For material &V1& in plant &V2&, the system has not found any batches
    in the <GL:storage_location_selection_list> storage
    location</>/<GL:batch_selection_list>batch selection list</>.
    Possible reasons for this are:
    you have not chosen any items on the storage location/batch selection
    list,
    there is no stock in the plant/storage location, or
    the stock is blocked due to a physical inventory.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    If you have not chosen a storage location/batch, you can do the
    following:
    If the field "Storage location" or "Batch" still contains *, press
    ENTER to again call up the storage location/batch selection list, from
    which you can choose storage locations or batches.
    You can also enter a storage location or a batch directly on the detail
    screen.
    If you suspect that no stock exists, you can <DS:TRAN.MMBE>check</> the
    stock on the stock overview screen. If no stock yet exists, in the case
    of a goods receipt, you can enter a storage location (if this is
    allowed in the plant and for the movement type) and/or a batch.
