Message type: E = Error
Message class: M3 - Material Master
Message number: 155
Message text: Prices have been recalculated
You have changed the price unit or the price control indicator. This
has caused all prices to be recalculated automatically.
If you change the price unit or the price control indicator, the old
active price is copied to the new price field and cannot be changed.
Any values you enter on the screen are overwritten.
&BEISPIEL&
The price control indicator was V. Thus, the old active price was a
moving average price. If you now change the indicator to S (standard
price), the new standard price is treated as equivalent to the moving
average price.

M3155
- Prices have been recalculated ?The SAP error message M3155, which states "Prices have been recalculated," typically occurs in the context of materials management and inventory management processes. This message indicates that the system has recalculated the prices for materials due to changes in the underlying data, such as changes in the cost structure, pricing conditions, or other relevant factors.
Cause:
- Price Changes: The most common cause is a change in the price of a material, which can occur due to updates in the pricing conditions or changes in the cost of goods sold.
- Material Master Changes: Changes made to the material master data, such as updates to the valuation class or price control indicators, can trigger a recalculation of prices.
- Inventory Adjustments: Adjustments in inventory levels, such as goods receipts or goods issues, can also lead to price recalculations.
- Currency Changes: If there are changes in currency exchange rates, this can affect the pricing of materials, especially in international transactions.
Solution:
- Review Material Master Data: Check the material master data for any recent changes that might have triggered the recalculation. Ensure that the pricing conditions are set correctly.
- Check Pricing Conditions: Review the pricing conditions in the system to ensure they are accurate and reflect the current pricing strategy.
- Analyze Transaction Logs: Look into transaction logs or change documents to identify what changes were made that led to the recalculation.
- Reprocess Transactions: If the recalculation has caused issues in transactions (like purchase orders or sales orders), you may need to reprocess those transactions to reflect the new prices.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling price recalculations in your version of SAP.
