How To Fix LXE_SE63011 - Text after final closing tag cannot be saved (see F1 Help)

SAP Error Message - Details

  • Message type: E = Error

  • Message class: LXE_SE63 - (LXE) SE63 Messages

  • Message number: 011

  • Message text: Text after final closing tag cannot be saved (see F1 Help)

  • Show details Hide details
  • When you open a long text object for translation, it is converted
automatically from its original format (such as SAPscript) to XML. When
you save an active version of your translation, the text is converted
    back to the original format.

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

All formatting information and technical links are stored in protected
XML tags. Your long text editor settings determine whether the tags are
displayed in full, or compressed to a five-digit number in square
brackets. For example, the tag </itf> could be displayed in full in the
long text editor, or it could be compressed to <(><<)>00003> instead.
You have created some or all of your translation after the final closing
tag in the object, which could be </itf> or </xliff>. If you enter text
after the final closing tag and choose Save Active, the long text editor
is unable to convert the data because it's outside the XML structure.
To solve this problem, make sure that the entire translation is included
in the XML structure and then delete the text after the final closing
    tag.
