Message text: Data model '&1' is still in simulation mode
During the data migration, the data must be written into the application

still in simulation mode. This means that the data is not written into
the application table but in a simulation table instead.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

LTR2_ES_CHECK263
- Data model '&1' is still in simulation mode ?The SAP error message LTR2_ES_CHECK263 indicates that the data model you are trying to work with is still in simulation mode. This typically occurs in the context of SAP Landscape Transformation (SLT) or SAP Data Services, where data models can be created and tested in a simulation environment before being activated for production use.
Cause:
The primary cause of this error is that the data model (indicated by
&1
in the error message) has not been fully activated or is still in a testing phase. In simulation mode, certain operations may be restricted, and the model cannot be used for actual data replication or transformation processes.Solution:
To resolve this error, you need to activate the data model. Here are the steps you can follow:
Access the Data Model: Go to the relevant transaction or application where the data model is defined (e.g., SLT configuration or Data Services).
Check the Status: Verify the current status of the data model. It should indicate that it is in simulation mode.
Activate the Data Model:
- Look for an option to activate or publish the data model. This may be labeled as "Activate," "Publish," or similar.
- Follow the prompts to complete the activation process.
Review Dependencies: Ensure that all dependencies and prerequisites for activation are met. This may include checking for any required configurations or settings that need to be in place.
Test the Activation: After activation, perform a test to ensure that the data model is functioning as expected and that the error no longer appears.
Related Information:
By following these steps, you should be able to resolve the error and successfully activate your data model for use in production.
