  • What causes this issue?

Material &V1& is handled in batches. The batch was defined in the
order although this material was defined as a crate part (WM kanban
part) in the <GL:warehouse_management_system>WM system </> via the
    <GL:control_cycle>control cycle</>.
Crate part processing in the WM system has the following special
    characteristics:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Material staging for crate parts is always without reference to an
    order.
Material staging for crate parts is always without reference to a
    batch.
The crate parts are managed in the WM system for production in a fixed
production storage bin defined via the <GL:control_cycle>control
    cycle</>.
Since this material staging is always executed without a batch
specification, the batches defined in the order are not considered by
the WM system. In this way, batches other than those in the order can
be defined and supplied in the WM system. The supplied batches also
have no reference to the order. All the orders of a production area
are supplied with materials from a production storage bin where several
batches may already have been supplied for material staging.
For this reason, the components of the pick-part material should be
requested in the WM system without reference to a batch and the batch
in the order should either be confirmed to the order only after a
particular batch has been withdrawn from the production storage bin
(currently only possible manually) or specified explicitly during the
GI consumption posting. It is also possible, if the batch number does
not have to be confirmed to the order, for the WM system to determine
the number during the consumption posting and to transmit it to the IM
system. These batches are selected in the WM system from the
respective production storage bin according to the GI date.

    How to fix this error?

Check whether the explicit batch definition for the material in the
order is appropriate and, if required, remove the batch specification.
