Message text: Credential store "Simple Store" is no longer supported
The "Simple Store" procedure provided to store credentials (passwords)
contravenes the requirements of the SAP Security Standard.
It is not possible to create new entries with this procedure.
It is possible to continue to use existing entries, but these lead to a
warning message.
If you change an existing entry with this procedure, and switch the
credential store to the procedure "Secure Storage", the credential is
read from the simple store, stored in the secure storage, and when the
changes are saved, deleted from the simple store.
The secure storage has a restriction in comparison to the simple store:
credentials that are stored in the secure storage cannot be transported
between systems and must be maintained separately in all systems.
To allow this, even if a system is locked for changes in Customizing,
the maintenance functions of the secure storage are active in the detail
view of the "LDAP system user" even in display mode, if the user has
authorization to make changes in view maintenance.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
