    Summarization can only be carried out within a controlling area. This
    means that class &V1& - &V2& must contain reference characteristic &V3&,
    which is linked to the controlling area.
    Class &V1& - &V2& does not contain the reference characteristic
    "Controlling area".

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Go into Customizing and set the change classification data for
    summarization so that the controlling area is in the rollup class.
    If the controlling area is displayed as a generated characteristic of
    the class, use the function "Extras - Compare status" to check whether
    the status is correctly displayed.
