    the following actions will result in a structure break in the update of
    the cost component splits (cost component itemization):

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    Deleting cost components
    Deleting cost component structures
    Changing the assignment of cost elements to the cost components
    Changing the assignment of the cost component structure to the
    organizational units
    Changing the transfer structure
    Cost estimates updated before the change will then no longer be
    comparable with cost estimates updated after the change.

    You can create new cost components for a cost component structure or
    change cost components from "variable" to "fixed and variable" without
