  • What causes this issue?

    You want to print or update report data in the background using program
    RKEBATCH or transaction KE3B in CO-PA or RKCBATCH or transaction KCRC
    in SAP-EIS.
    This message also appears when you use the function "Maintain variable
    groups" (transaction KE3W in CO-PA or transaction KCRB in SAP-EIS).

    System Response

    In Release 4.0, you need to use variant groups to do this.
    You can still display variable groups. However, you can no longer use
    them to print or update reports in the background.
