Message class: KH - CO-PA Reporting
Message number: 844
Message text: Use variant groups for printing, updating -> see long text
You want to print or update report data in the background using program
RKEBATCH or transaction KE3B in CO-PA or RKCBATCH or transaction KCRC
in SAP-EIS.
This message also appears when you use the function "Maintain variable
groups" (transaction KE3W in CO-PA or transaction KCRB in SAP-EIS).
In Release 4.0, you need to use variant groups to do this.
You can still display variable groups. However, you can no longer use
them to print or update reports in the background.
For details on how to proceed in CO-PA, see the section
"<DS:CHAP.SIMG_CMMENUORKEZ020>Report Data</>" in Customzing.
For SAP-EIS, see the sections "Freezing Report Data" and "Printing
Reports in the Background" in the online documentation.
It is also possible to convert variable groups into variant groups. For
more information, see the release note on the information system.
