  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

In the header (general data selections) for planning layout "&V1&" that
is currently in use, you have used a characteristic for which you have
specified either a real interval (with from- and to- values) or all
    values ("*").
However, no planning data exists yet for the current selection.

    System Response

You cannot continue planning because it is not possible to add
    characteristic values in the header.

    How to fix this error?

In the definition of the planning level or the planning package for
this characteristic, enter single values only. Alternatively, include
the characteristic as the lead column in the planning layout.
If you are still working with the old planning screen (transaction
    KE11), the following conditions apply:
If you entered fixed values for the interval in the general data
selection, you cannot add additional characteristic values in the
planning layout. You need either to change the layout or to use another
    one.
If you defined the interval with variables in the general data
selection of the planning layout, you can continue planning by
specifying the same characteristic value for the from- and to- values.
That way you can add other characteristic values.
