  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You have added characteristics to your operating concern, or SAP has
added new fixed characteristics. After you generate the operating
concern, these characteristics fields have an undefined content in the
database. As a result, the system creates new objects instead of using
    the existing profitability segments.
This can double your data volume in the table and the profitability
segment levels each time you add a field. This leads to worse response
    times.
<ZH>This function does not affect the accuracy of your report data.</>
Note that this function must also be executed if SAP adds new fixed
    characteristics.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

After you generate the operating concern, initialize the added
characteristics. To do this, selection function <LS>Details ->
    Initialize</> in characteristic/value field maintenance.
