In field catalog "&V3&", a check table has been entered for field "&V2&
". However, no foreign key relationship could be created in the

KE063
- No foreign key relationship was generated for field &1-&2 ?The SAP error message KE063 ("No foreign key relationship was generated for field &1-&2") typically occurs in the context of the Controlling (CO) module when there is an issue with the configuration of the data model, particularly in relation to the assignment of fields in a table or structure that are expected to have a foreign key relationship.
Cause:
Missing Foreign Key Definition: The error usually indicates that the system expected a foreign key relationship between two fields (e.g., between a controlling area and a cost center) but could not find one. This can happen if the necessary foreign key relationships have not been defined in the data dictionary.
Inconsistent Data Model: If the data model has been modified (e.g., fields added or removed) without properly updating the foreign key relationships, this error can occur.
Configuration Issues: Incorrect configuration in the controlling area or related settings can lead to this error.
Solution:
Check Data Dictionary: Verify the data dictionary (SE11) for the relevant tables and structures to ensure that the foreign key relationships are correctly defined. You may need to create or adjust the foreign key relationships.
Review Configuration: Go through the configuration settings in the Controlling module (transaction codes like OKKP for controlling area settings) to ensure that all necessary settings are in place and correctly configured.
Adjust Field Settings: If you have custom fields or tables, ensure that they are correctly linked to the standard SAP fields and that the foreign key relationships are established.
Transport Requests: If changes were made in a development environment, ensure that they have been properly transported to the production environment.
Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or notes related to the specific version of SAP you are using, as there may be specific instructions or patches available.
Testing: After making changes, perform testing to ensure that the error no longer occurs and that the system behaves as expected.
