    Data records were found in the database, that are only distinguished by
    a different record number in the same characteristic combination. This
    situation is incorrect and cannot be edited further.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Please search for the incorrect data records using the Data Browser
    (SE16). Delete the data records with the same characteristic
    combination and different record number (field 'RECNR'). Where
    necessary adjust the values in the remaining data record with the entry
    transaction again. Attempt to analyze how the incorrect data records
    could have got into the system and remove the errors in the update
    (where necessary with your own ABAP Program). If the data records are
    written by the functions of EC-EIS please get in touch with the
    hotline.
