  • What causes this issue?

The selected node and its individual values cannot be maintained within
the framework of this transaction. This has several causes:
The node belongs to a standard hierarchie. In this case, the individual
value entry is not ready. Individual values are edited in master data
maintenance (such as cost centers). If the node does not have values
entered (due to it being only just created), the dialog window for
display of individual values is also not processed.
The node is a dataset for reporting. This node can be edited only in
    general set maintenance.
The node contains formulas. Nodes with formulas can be edited only in
    general set maintenance.
