    The system has tried to determine whether transaction data exists for a
    controlling object (such as an order, cost center, sales document
    item). The number of the controlling object was not transferred.

    How to fix this error?

    Check whether the action executed with the currently processed object
    actually makes sense. It could be that you are trying to execute a
    controlling transaction with an object that has no link to Controlling.
    Otherwise it is most likely to be a system error. Contact the SAP
    Hotline.
