  • What causes this issue?

Each view must have a number range object from which the system can
draw numbers for new base portfolios. The number range object is
generated in the background when you create a view.
Although the specified view, which belongs to the processed analysis
structure, has a number range object, there is no interval within this
object. It may be that the interval was later deleted.

    System Response

The analysis structure cannot be used.

    How to fix this error?

Either use the IMG step "Administer Number Ranges" to create an
    interval, or delete the view.

This error is often encountered in the context of creating or managing documents, such as invoices, purchase orders, or other transactional data that requires unique identifiers.

    Cause:

      • If there are no intervals, you can create a new one by selecting the "Intervals" button and defining the range (start and end numbers).
      • Ensure that the intervals are not overlapping with existing ones and that they are valid for the intended use.
    3. Assign Number Range to Document Type:

      • Ensure that the number range is assigned to the correct document type or view. This can usually be done in the configuration settings for the specific application area (e.g., Sales and Distribution, Materials Management).
      • Use transaction code SPRO to navigate to the relevant configuration settings.
    4. Check Authorizations:

      • Ensure that the user has the necessary authorizations to access and modify number ranges. This may involve checking user roles and permissions.
    5. Consult Documentation:
