What causes this issue?

You attempted to create a securities order, or change a position. When
doing so, you entered a class as the security ID number. This class is
not identified as product category "Security". In the area of
securities
, you can only use classes for the ID number if they have a product
category that falls in the range from '010' and '060', such as stocks,
bonds, subscription rights or equity warrants.
When product types are defined in Customizing, precisely one product
category is selected for and assigned to each product type. Which
product categories are available is fixed in the system.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

Enter a different securities ID number.
