IRW_LT080
- Header entry should have lowest sequence number(see long text) ?The SAP error message IRW_LT080, which states "Header entry should have lowest sequence number," typically occurs in the context of handling logistics and transportation management within SAP. This error is related to the sequence of entries in a logistics document, such as a delivery or shipment, where the system expects the header entry to have the lowest sequence number.
Cause:
- Incorrect Sequence Numbering: The error usually arises when there are multiple entries (e.g., items or sub-items) associated with a logistics document, and the system detects that the header entry does not have the lowest sequence number. This can happen if entries were added or modified in a way that disrupts the expected order.
- Data Integrity Issues: There may be inconsistencies in the data, such as manual changes or incorrect data imports that lead to sequence number misalignment.
- Custom Development: If there are custom enhancements or modifications in the SAP system, they might inadvertently affect the sequence numbering logic.
Solution:
- Check Sequence Numbers: Review the sequence numbers of the entries associated with the logistics document. Ensure that the header entry has the lowest sequence number. You may need to adjust the sequence numbers manually or through a program if they are incorrect.
- Recreate the Document: If the document is corrupted or the sequence numbers are too far out of alignment, it may be easier to recreate the document from scratch.
- Data Consistency Check: Run data consistency checks in the relevant modules to identify and correct any discrepancies in the data.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or notes related to this error message for specific guidance or patches that may address the issue.
