  • What causes this issue?

This problem can be caused by the following errors:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    - System error:
The problem was caused by an error on system level. One of the possible
reasons for this could be missing system capacity, such as no free
dialog (DIA) or background process (BGD) during the iPPE change
transfer. This can happen when other processes are executed s
imultaneously. Typical examples of this are system backups or other
system activities. Check the system log (SM21) for more information.
    - Communication error:
The problem was caused by a network error. One of the possible reasons
could be a high capacity utilization of your local network (LAN) during
the iPPE change transfer. This can be caused, for example, by online
    backups or other data transfers.

    System Response

After the iPPE change transfer, no data is sent to APO. If you check the
outbound queue in the ERP system (transaction SMQ1), you see there the
hanging queue CF_CHANGE_IPPE with the status 'STOP'.

    How to fix this error?

Check the outbound queue in transaction SMQ1 and delete the queue that
has the status 'STOP'. You then have to process the queues that are
    relevant for iPPE manually.
You have to delete the queue that has the status 'STOP' because
otherwise, the subsequent queues cannot be processed.
If this problem occurs frequently, check your system settings to avoid
missing system capacity in the future.
In the case of a communication error, have an IT network specialist
    check the following points:
    - whether an other program led to high network utilization during the
    iPPE change transfer
    - the RFC user that is used for the C
    the APO system
