material. Your serial number profile does not allow the entry of a new
serial number here.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

You can either select an existing serial number, or you can create
the required serial number in the system using the following menu
path:
<LS>Logistics -> Plant maintenance -> Technical objects -> Serial
numbers -> Create</>.
