What causes this issue?

You must only execute this activity if you have changed the
<DS:DE.BSTVP>stock check indicator</> in the serial number settings and
have already performed goods movements with
<DS:GLOS.serial_number>serial numbers</>.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Because the indicator for whether stocks should be checked for
individual serial numbers is copied from the default settings in the
data records, the existing serial numbers must be adapted to the
changed settings in the event of a subsequent change.
