  • What causes this issue?

The system attempted to create a digital signature with system parameter
values that are either not valid or not applicable.
To access an existing PSE-file it is required to enter/configure the
correct password. The system does not allow an access to the PSE-file if
the credentials are not valid or if you have entered the wrong password
    (access protection).
You cannot use formats or algorithms which are not supported by the
    kernel and the cryptographic library.

    System Response

    The system stops the processing.

    How to fix this error?

You must use the SSF environment consistently:
For processes with manual inputs, you have to enter/use the correct
combination of PSE-filename and password and applicable formats and
    algorithms.
For background processes, you have to configure a consistent SSF
    environment.

    Procedure for System Administrators

    You should do the following:
Check if the PSE-file exists. Check the filename (Transaction AL11),
note that the filename is case-sensitive. Check the corresponding
password (PIN) and the server credentials.
Run a cryptographic library that supports all parameter values which
were used during the processing (installation and activation of a
    different library could be necessary).
Check the patch level of the cryptographic library.
You must have installed and activated the latest version of the
cryptographic library SAPCRYPTOLIB. The patch level of the cryptographic
library must support the usage of implicit signer-ID values.
