Message text: Benefit type &1: There is no limit that does not depend on a country
In benefit type &v1& there are only country-specific limits and/or
deductibles.
If a claim/loss is incurred in a country that has not been defined, the
system is unable to determine the limit or deductible, and thus no limit
or deductible is applied. This is generally not desired.
Define a limit and/or deductible in which the <ZK>Country</> and <ZK>
Region</> fields remain empty. This is taken as the standard value if
the system is unable to find a suitable entry

- Benefit type &1: There is no limit that does not depend on a country ?The SAP error message ICLCUST201 typically occurs in the context of configuring benefits in the SAP system, particularly when dealing with country-specific settings for benefit types. This error indicates that there is no limit defined for the specified benefit type that is independent of a country, which is required for the system to process the benefit correctly.
Cause:
- Missing Configuration: The benefit type specified does not have a limit defined that is not dependent on a specific country. This can happen if the configuration for the benefit type is incomplete or if the necessary limits have not been set up in the system.
- Country-Specific Settings: The system may be expecting a limit that applies universally (i.e., not tied to any specific country), but such a limit has not been defined.
- Incorrect Benefit Type: The benefit type being referenced may not be correctly set up in the system, or it may not be intended to have a country-independent limit.
Solution:
Check Configuration:
- Navigate to the configuration settings for the benefit type in the SAP system. This is usually found in the customizing (SPRO) area under the relevant module (e.g., Personnel Administration or Benefits).
- Ensure that there is a limit defined for the benefit type that does not depend on a specific country.
Define a Country-Independent Limit:
- If a limit is not defined, you will need to create one. This involves specifying the limit for the benefit type in the configuration settings.
- Make sure to review the documentation or guidelines for setting up benefits in your specific SAP version, as the steps may vary.
Review Benefit Type Settings:
- Verify that the benefit type is correctly configured and that it is intended to have a country-independent limit. If it is meant to be country-specific, ensure that the appropriate country-specific limits are set up.
Consult Documentation:
- Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for detailed instructions on configuring benefits and limits. This can provide insights into any additional settings that may be required.
Testing:
- After making the necessary changes, test the configuration to ensure that the error no longer occurs and that the benefit is processed correctly.
