ICA02130
- Items cannot be added to an assignment that has a different leading unit. ?The SAP error message ICA02130 indicates that there is an issue with adding items to an assignment due to a mismatch in the leading unit of measure. This typically occurs in scenarios where you are trying to assign items (like materials or products) to a document or transaction that has a different unit of measure than what is defined for the items you are trying to add.
Cause:
- Unit of Measure Mismatch: The leading unit of measure for the assignment (e.g., a sales order, purchase order, or production order) does not match the unit of measure of the items you are trying to add.
- Configuration Issues: There may be configuration settings in the material master or in the assignment type that define the leading unit of measure differently.
- Data Entry Errors: Incorrect data entry when creating the assignment or when defining the items can lead to this error.
Solution:
Check Unit of Measure: Verify the unit of measure for both the assignment and the items you are trying to add. Ensure they are compatible.
- You can check the material master data (transaction code MM03) to see the unit of measure settings for the items.
- Check the assignment document to see its leading unit of measure.
Adjust the Assignment: If possible, adjust the assignment to use the same leading unit of measure as the items you want to add. This may involve changing the configuration or the way the assignment is set up.
Convert Units: If the items need to be in a different unit of measure, consider converting the units appropriately before adding them to the assignment.
Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidance on handling unit of measure issues in your version of SAP.
