&PURPOSE&
This program provides support for the configuration tasks described in
the configuration guide <LS>Configure your ABAP Development System for
Development of HDI Objects</>. The configuration guide is provided as an
attachment to SAP Note 2569651
(https://launchpad.support.sap.com/#/notes/2569651).
&FEATURES&
The program runs various tests to verify whether the tasks in the
configuration guide were performed successfully.
We recommend that you run the program both before and after the actions
in the individual sections of the configuration guide so that any errors
can be handled as quickly as possible. This means that the program
displays a large number of error messages at the start of the
configuration, but these messages gradually disappear.
Note: You must run the program again for each step. It is not enough
just to use the refresh function (F9), since this only refreshes the
display and does not run any checks.
A long text with detailed information can be displayed for each section
and for each error message. Once the configuration is finished, the
program simulates the basic activities required to develop HDI objects.
If no more errors are displayed, the system is fully configured for the
development and transport of native HDI objects for ABAP-for-SAP HANA
applications and development can start.
