  • Message class: HRPAYTR02 -

  • Message text: Warning: Unit & requires special characteristics

  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Unit &V1& refers to organizational fields. The characteristics in your
information structure do not include any of these fields.
    <ZH>Example</>
Unit 30 (local currency) refers to the company code. To prevent values
in different currencies from being added together, you need to add a
field to the information structure's characteristics which clearly
indicates the company code. The same applies to unit 01 (base unit of
measure): the material must be a characteristic in the information
    structure.

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

You can ignore this warning if you can be sure that the same unit is
always used in updating. In the above example, this could be the case
if you have only created one company code and thus one local currency
    in your system.
If you cannot rule out the possibility of these problems occurring,
change the characteristics in your information structure as follows:
Add the field &V2& (&V3&) as a characteristic in your information
structure, or choose a characteristic with a domain that is proposed in
view V_TMC6P_D for unit &V1&. Characteristics in this view are
    identified via their domain.
