  • What causes this issue?

    You are evaluating retro payroll period but there is nothing reported
    for it's original.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    <ZH>Example:</>
    <ZK>Current payroll period 03/2019 contains retro to 02/2019. However,
    you didn't perform KATRE reporting for period 02/2019.</>
    At this point, the report data from all older periods before 03/2019
    must be delivered to IR (accepted).
    The Data Creator step needs to compare currently prepared data from
    retro payroll period (02/2019 IN 03/2019) with the accepted one by IR
    (02/2019 IN 02/2019) to determine relevant changes. These changes can
    even lead to a Replacement or Cancellation report.
    <ZH>This is often case in Simulation mode</> because of wrong
    expectation that results reported in Productive mode are shared also for
    Simulation mode. This is however not true. The simulation mode is
    designed to be safe and therefore it does not interfere with any
    productive results.
    <ZH>Example:</>
    <ZK>Current payroll period 03/2019 contains retro to 02/2019. You
    reported periods up to 02/2019 to IR (in productive mode). You want to
    check what results are going to be prepared for period 03/2019 in </>
    <ZH>Simulation mode</><ZK>. However, there is no history which was
    prepared in Simulation run for period 01/2019 and 02/2019.</>
    You have must prepare history for Simulation mode first. You have
    several options:
    Manually - run reporting process for each payroll period (01 and 02) in
    Simulation mode. This can be tedious and error prone.
    Use special option (Copy from prod...) of Simulation mode in Data
    Collector step when reporting the period 03/2019. Remember to perform
    all following steps also in Simulation mode.
    Run Data Collector step for period 03/2019 in productive mode and then
    Use special option (Copy PROD results) of Simulation mode in Data
    Creator step. Remember to perform all following steps also in Simulation
    mode.

    You must report data for each payroll period chronologically. For
    Productive mode you must first deliver report data to IR for all
    previous payroll periods.
    For Simulation mode, you can build history via special selection screen
    options.
