  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

The conversion program could not fully convert the Customizing table
entries to determine Dependent/Beneficiary Eligibility for the &V2&
benefit plan in the &V1& benefit area. This is due to the fact that the
    T5UBA-DEPYN, T5UBA-BENYN, T5UBA-EEBYN, and T5UBA-CTGYN or T5UBA-SPARQ
indicators for this plan have different values for different validity
periods in the T5UBA Plan Definition Table. During the automatic
conversion, the system stores a Dependent/Beneficiary Eligibility Rule
Variant in table T74HS that has the same key as the benefit plan. If
the above-mentioned indicators are not identical for a plan in
different periods, at least two Dependent/Beneficiary Eligibility Rule
variants are needed for this plan. The conversion for this plan cannot,
therefore, proceed fully automatically. In certain circumstances, you
    must insert the entries manually.

    System Response

The system creates only one eligibility rule variant for the last valid
entry for this plan. No data is converted for the other entries.

    How to fix this error?

You may need to insert additional table entries manually after the
Upgrade. As long as this is not necessary, you can use the Benefits
module quite safely. Note that for the &V2& plan, only dependents or
beneficiaries in the validity period of the last entry in T5UBA can be
    enrolled.
If this is not sufficient for your requirements and you need to enroll
dependents and beneficiaries for earlier validity periods aswell, you
can create additional eligibility rule variants after the Upgrade and
assign them to the plan. To do this, see the IMG under Benefits ->
Flexible Administration -> Dependent/Beneficiary Eligibility. For more
information on the procedure, see the individual IMG steps.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
