  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

You configured ONCONFIG parameter 'TAPEBLK' or 'LTAPEBLK'
    to be greater than '128'.
Parameter 'TAPEBLK' specifies the block size with which the backup
tool 'ontape' saves the dbspaces on tape.
'LTAPEBLK' specifies the block size with which
'ontape' saves the logical logs on tape.
If you define 'ontape', your backup will fail since SNI tape stations
can only handle a maximum of '128' at the moment
    (see Note 53970).

    System Response

    How to fix this error?

To reconfigure 'TAPEBLK' or 'LTAPEBLK', edit file
'$INFORMIXDIR/etc/$ONCONFIG' (as user 'informix')('ontape' should not
be running at the time of editing).
