  • What causes this issue?

    Firstly, if you are running the checktool on a 'pure' database server
    (without SAP work processes) this note always appears, because in this
    case no local SAP profile can be found (no need to worry!)

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    '/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile/<SID>_<INSTANCE>_<HOST>'
    (or '/usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/profile/<SID>_<INSTANCE>' old style)
    cannot be opened for reading.
