  • What causes this issue?

    The derivation tree has been saved. Before you can use it in this form
    in application processes, you have to activate it using function
    <LS>Derivation Tree</> -> <LS>Activate</>.
    You can only activate and execute a derivation tree if it has no errors.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    When you release a transport request with HDS derivation tress, the
    system checks if the derivation trees contained are active. If there are
    inactive HDS trees, the release of the transport request is terminated
    with an error message and RC = 8.
