Message type: E = Error
Message class: GS - Sets
Message number: 812
Message text: Value & in set & has been transferred without change
Value &V1& occurs in set &V2& as
the from value of a set line,
the to value of a set line, or
the representative value of the set.
The value should be converted during the set conversion because
the attributes of the new reference field of the set stored in the
Dictionary differ from those of the old reference field
or because
a conversion exit is entered for the reference field of the set in the
field movement table for the conversion of FI-GLX tables.
However, the value conversion could not be performed because
for the value in the set, a corresponding value could not be found for
the new reference field, or
a conversion exit is specified for the reference field of the set in
the field movement table for the FI-GLX conversion, but there is no
corresponding FORM routine for this exit in the FORM pool RGUUX000.
The value is transferred without change.
If the entry for the conversion exit in the field movement table for
the FI-GLX conversion is incorrect, you should correct it and then
repeat the conversion.
If this is not the case and you do not want the set value to be
transferred without change, you can change the set as required once the
conversion is completed.

GS812
- Value & in set & has been transferred without change ?The SAP error message GS812 indicates that a value has been transferred without change, which typically occurs in the context of data transfer or data validation processes. This message is often related to the use of data sets or value sets in SAP, particularly in the context of configuration or data entry.
Cause:
- Data Transfer Issues: The error can occur when data is being transferred from one system to another (e.g., during an upload or migration) and the system detects that the value being transferred is the same as the existing value in the target system.
- Validation Rules: The system may have validation rules that prevent the transfer of unchanged values, as it may not make sense to update a record with the same value.
- Incorrect Configuration: There may be an issue with the configuration of the data transfer process, leading to the system interpreting the unchanged value as an error.
Solution:
- Review Data: Check the data being transferred to ensure that it is indeed different from the existing values in the target system. If the values are the same, you may not need to perform the transfer.
- Adjust Transfer Logic: If the unchanged values are valid and should be transferred, consider adjusting the logic of the data transfer process to allow for unchanged values.
- Consult Documentation: Review SAP documentation or help resources related to the specific transaction or process you are working with to understand the context of the error.
- Debugging: If you have access to debugging tools, you can trace the data transfer process to identify where the error is being triggered and why.
- Contact Support: If the issue persists and you cannot find a resolution, consider reaching out to SAP support or your internal IT team for assistance.
