  • What causes this issue?

    You are running resource-related billing in Grants Management (GM).
    However, in the Dynamic Item Profile (DIP), the <zk>Record ID of LI
    Record</> characteristic is not marked as "CharactRelevant". This
    causes the billing status of table GMIA lines (which corresponds to the
    expense items you want to bill) to be set incorrectly.

    System Response

    Resource-related billing cannot continue.

    How to fix this error?

    In DIP customizing, change the <zk>Record ID of LI Record</>
    characteristic to "CharactRelevant".

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
