equity group sum to 100%. It is possible to create equity groups in
which the sum of partner ownership percentages is within a fraction of
100%.
For example, the total ownership percentages of the partners in the
following equity group do not sum to 100%, but the sum is within a
fraction of 100%:

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

proceed to save the equity group or assign it to ownership of the joint
venture.
If you intended to create or select an equity group in which the
ownership percentages of the partners <ZH>do</> sum to 100%, cancel
this selection.
