What causes this issue?

In internal program processing, the index currency should be determined
for country &V1&. However, an index currency is not defined in the
Customizing settings for country &V1&.
This error occurred in the currency determination for ledger &V2& and
company code / global company &V3&.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
