Message text: Fields cannot be deleted
One of the following situations has occurred:
Data was already posted to the tables in New General Ledger Accounting.
You cannot delete fields unless you have already deleted the data.
However, it is not sufficient to delete only the individual ledgers in
New General Ledger Accounting; the object tables belonging to New
General Ledger Accounting must also be deleted. This is not without
complications.
The table has already been transported. Even if no data exists in the
current system, it is <ZH>not</>
permitted to delete individual fields. Serious problems may occur during
transports to other systems (such as the production system).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
If you have already activated New General Ledger Accounting, you are
advised not to delete any fields from the customer includes in question.
If you still want to delete fields, contact the SAP Hotline.
