  • What causes this issue?

You are transporting table entries which necessitate special actions in
the target system. This is why entries of type 'R3TR XPRA program
name' have been included in this correction. These entries cause the
specified programs to be executed in the target system. In doing so,
new programs are generated which replace exisiting programs in the
system. This can cause problems if the programs to be replaced are
    currently productive.
For security reasons, you should only execute the transport
request from the correction in the target system, if postings are not
being made in any clients on your computer (for example, in the
    evening).

    System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

  • What is the cause and solution for SAP error message GG772 - Programs are modified in the target system ?

The SAP error message GG772, which states "Programs are modified in the target system," typically occurs during a transport process when there are discrepancies between the source and target systems regarding the status of ABAP programs or objects. Cause:

    1. Direct Modifications: The program or object was modified directly in the target system after the transport request was created in the source system.

    3. Inconsistent Versions: The version of the program in the target system is different from the version in the transport request.

    Solution:

To resolve the GG772 error, you can follow these steps:

    1. Check Modifications:

      • Review the modifications made to the program in the target system. You can use transaction SE80 or SE38 to check the program's version and modification history.

    3. Create a New Transport Request:

      • If the modifications in the target system are necessary, you may need to create a new transport request that includes the changes made in the target system. This way, you can ensure that both systems are in sync.
    4. Use the Transport Organizer:

      • Use transaction SE09 or SE10 to manage your transport requests. You can check the status of the transport requests and see if there are any conflicts.
    5. Consult with Development Team:

      • If you are unsure about the modifications, consult with the development team to understand the changes made in the target system and decide on the best course of action.

      • Review the transport logs for any additional information or errors that may provide insight into the issue.
