What causes this issue?

In step &V3& of reclassification method &V1&, you have specified the
item &V2& as the target assignment. In reclassification method &V1&, you
have selected <LS>Equity-Method Investee Units Held for Sale</> as the
processing type of assets held for sale.
You have assigned reclassification method &V1& to reclassification task
&V4&. In this task, you have selected the <LS>Assets Held for Sale</>
checkbox.
In reclassification methods with the processing type <LS>Equity-Method
Investee Units Held for Sale</>, you must specify an investment item as
the target assignment for the equity method. (You define investment
items for the equity method in Customizing for consolidation of
investments for the equity method posting for scopes of reported data
for the equity method - transaction CXJ3.) This is necessary to ensure
that the system reclassifies the investment adjustment that results from
the equity-method investee units intended for sale to the <LS>Assets
Held for Sale</> account. However, the item &V2& is not defined as an
investment item for the equity method.

System Response

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

How to fix this error?

Adjust the Customizing settings for reclassification method &V1& by
defining an investment item as the target assignment for the equity
method.
