    Default values must be maintained for the characteristic &V1&. Numerous
    consolidation functions use this default value.
    The characteristic &V1& is in a compounding relationship with other
    characteristics and is dependent on their characteristic values. For
    the value combination &V2& of the independent characteristics no
    default value is maintained.

    System Response

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

    How to fix this error?

    Maintain for every value combination of the independent characteristics
    a default value for the characteristic &V1&.
