the unit has no reference to a value field.

How to fix this error?

Check whether the quantities are uploaded, using the upload method. In
this case assign the data line to (at least) one of the fields
"Quantity" or "Adjustment of quantities". Otherwise please do without
the assignment of a unit of measure.
