  • What causes this issue?

    When you create a BOM by copying a BOM of one material (for example,
    MATERIAL_1) to another material (for example, MATERIAL_2), the deviation
    quantities of the first BOM are not copied to second BOM (that is,
    MATERIAL_2) component. This happens as the two materials are not
    identical.
    You can copy the BOM with deviation quantities if the materials are
    identical.

    The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
