Message text: Volume values that deviate from the entered volume may be calculated
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
You chose the volume unit &V1& for the output of a formula in whichThe mass is included in the quantity and volume calculations as a
conservation amount in the process. The mass that evaporates or is
absorbed and the mass of the primary output are calculated based on
this. Afterwards, the system calculates the volume and density for the
primary output again.
If the calculated volume and density of the primary output are different
to the volume and density entered in the specification of the primary
output, you can reduce this difference by repeatedly saving the
calculated density to the specification of the primary output.

FRMLDLG399
- Volume values that deviate from the entered volume may be calculated ?The SAP error message FRMLDLG399 typically occurs in the context of handling volume calculations in SAP, particularly when dealing with material management or logistics processes. This message indicates that the volume values entered for a material or product do not match the expected or calculated values based on the system's parameters or the material's characteristics.
Cause:
- Data Entry Errors: The volume values entered may be incorrect or inconsistent with the material's specifications.
- Material Master Data Issues: The material master data may not be properly maintained, leading to discrepancies in volume calculations.
- Unit of Measure (UoM) Issues: There may be inconsistencies in the units of measure used for volume calculations.
- Configuration Issues: The system configuration for volume calculations may not be set up correctly, leading to unexpected results.
- Changes in Material Characteristics: If the characteristics of the material have changed (e.g., dimensions, density), the calculated volume may differ from the entered volume.
Solution:
- Verify Data Entry: Check the volume values entered for accuracy. Ensure that they are consistent with the material specifications.
- Review Material Master Data: Go to the material master record and verify that all relevant fields (such as dimensions, weight, and volume) are correctly filled out.
- Check Unit of Measure: Ensure that the units of measure used for volume are consistent and correctly defined in the system.
- Configuration Review: If you have access, review the configuration settings related to volume calculations in the SAP system. This may involve checking the settings in the relevant modules (e.g., MM, SD).
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for guidance on how to handle volume calculations and related settings.
- Contact Support: If the issue persists, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting with an SAP expert for further assistance.
