Message type: E = Error
Message class: FMRB - Revenue Increasing the Budget - FM specific part
Message number: 146
Message text: Selected rule cannot be deleted
You cannot delete the selected revenues increasing the budget (RIB)
rule, which is either based on the RIB object &V1&&V2& or on a revenue
cover group that uses the budget address &V1&&V2& as RIB source address,
because this RIB rule is still in use. RIB documents (for example,
document &V3&) still exist that use this RIB object or RIB source
address in the source part of the document (
<DS:DE.BUKU_PROCESS>process</> <ZH>RBBS</>).
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
Reverse all RIB budget documents posted for this RIB rule (or for the
budget address &V1&&V2&) and then try again, or select another function.

This error indicates that the system is preventing the deletion of a specific rule due to certain constraints or dependencies.
Causes:
- Active Assignments: The rule you are trying to delete may be actively assigned to one or more objects, such as budget structures, funds centers, or other financial documents.

Solutions:
- Check Assignments: Review the assignments of the rule in question. You can do this by navigating to the relevant configuration or transaction where the rule is used. Ensure that it is not linked to any active budget or financial document.
- Remove Dependencies: If the rule is linked to other objects, you will need to remove those links before attempting to delete the rule. This may involve changing budget assignments or unlinking the rule from financial documents.
- Authorization Check: Ensure that you have the necessary authorizations to delete the rule. If not, contact your SAP security administrator to obtain the required permissions.
- Consult Documentation: Refer to SAP documentation or help resources for specific guidelines on managing rules in the Funds Management module.
- Use Transaction Codes: Utilize relevant transaction codes (like FMAVCR01 for budget control or FMJ2 for changing rules) to check the status and dependencies of the rule.
