Message text: Deleted Address is used in contract &1 for partner &2
You want to delete the address (description: &V3&) in the business
partner which is still used in contract object &V1& with partner &V2&
as the selected partner address. This is not allowed.
The address is not deleted.
Navigate to the processing screen of contract object &V1& using the
<LS>change</> button on the right of this line.
Choose an address for partner &V2& and save the master data change.
You can then delete the address from the business partner master
record.
<ZH>Note:</>
SAP recommends that you choose the standard address of a different
payer in the contract instead of a specific address. This ensures that
address changes to the business partner are transferred automatically
to the contract object. These changes are then saved together with the
current business partner.
The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.

FMCA_PSOB058
- Deleted Address is used in contract &1 for partner &2 ?The SAP error message FMCA_PSOB058 indicates that a deleted address is being referenced in a contract for a specific partner. This typically occurs in the context of contract management or financial accounting when a partner's address has been deleted or marked as inactive, but the contract still references that address.
Cause:
- Deleted Address: The address associated with a partner (such as a customer or vendor) has been deleted or marked as inactive in the system.
- Contract Reference: The contract is still trying to use this deleted address, which leads to inconsistencies in the data.
- Data Integrity Issues: This can happen due to data maintenance activities where addresses are cleaned up, but related contracts are not updated accordingly.
Solution:
Check Partner Data:
- Go to the partner master data (e.g., customer or vendor) and verify if the address is indeed deleted or inactive.
- If the address is needed, consider restoring it or creating a new address for the partner.
Update Contract:
- Access the contract in question and update it to reference a valid, active address for the partner.
- Ensure that all related documents and transactions are also updated to maintain data integrity.
Data Consistency Check:
- Run a consistency check in the system to identify any other contracts or documents that may be referencing deleted addresses.
- Use transaction codes like SE16 or SE11 to query the relevant tables (e.g., KNA1 for customer master data) to find inconsistencies.
Consult Documentation:
- Review SAP documentation or notes related to contract management and partner data to understand best practices for maintaining address data.
Contact Support:
- If the issue persists or if you are unsure about making changes, consider reaching out to your SAP support team or consulting SAP Notes for further assistance.
