This error indicates that the system requires the same airline to be selected for both the departure and return flights, and it specifically mentions that code-sharing flights are not allowed.
Cause:
- Different Airlines Selected: The user has selected different airlines for the outbound and return flights.
- Code Sharing: The selected flights may involve code-sharing arrangements, which the system does not permit in this scenario.
- Travel Policy Restrictions: The organization’s travel policy may enforce the use of the same airline for both legs of the journey to ensure consistency, cost control, or other reasons.
Solution:
- Select the Same Airline: When booking flights, ensure that both the departure and return flights are with the same airline. This means you should not mix airlines for the outbound and inbound journeys.
- Avoid Code Sharing: If you are using a flight that is part of a code-sharing agreement, choose a flight that is operated solely by the airline you want to use, rather than a flight that is marketed by one airline but operated by another.
- Check Travel Policy: Review your organization’s travel policy to understand any specific requirements regarding airline selection. If necessary, consult with your travel coordinator or administrator for guidance.
- Use the SAP Travel Management Module: If you are using the SAP Travel Management module, ensure that you are following the correct procedures for booking flights and that you are aware of any restrictions in place.
