  • Show details Hide details
  • What causes this issue?

Program stores the values calculated for column 16 of map 32 in database
table FIAAPTD_COL16VAL, separately for each Reporting year
(FIAAPTD_COL16VAL-REPORTING_YEAR) (the fiscal year for which report is
    executed).
Program calculated different values than values that were previously
stored in FIAAPTD_COL16VAL for the same Reporting year for current asset
(stored by previous run for the same Reporting year).
However, program decided not to update the values in the table.
It is because program identified asset retirement or asset transfer
posting for the same asset, posted in the next fiscal year (Reporting
year + 1). These postings have already changed values (decreased or
increased RESIDUAL_VALUE) originally calculated in FIAAPTD_COL16VAL for
    Reporting year.
If program would update the values for Reporting year back to original
state, the effect of subsequent retirement or transfer posting would be
    annulated.

    System Response

The value in column 16 of map 32 will be displayed according to new
calculation. However, the results are not updated in FIAAPTD_COL16VAL
    table.

    How to fix this error?

If you want that system updates the table FIAAPTD_COL16VAL for current
Reporting year, you have to first reverse retirement/transfer postings
posted in Reporting year + 1.

    Procedure for System Administrators

The system issues an error message and will not allow you to continue with this transaction until the error is resolved.
